HSE Supervisor

    Job Vacancy: Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Supervisor


    Forest Company is currently looking for a qualified and experienced HSE Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of proven experience in supervising health, safety, and environmental practices within construction, industrial, or infrastructure projects. The position requires strong leadership skills, a proactive attitude, and a clear understanding of local and international HSE standards. English and Arabic languages are required; Kurdish is considered a plus.

    Key Responsibilities:
  •   Monitor and enforce company HSE policies, procedures, and standards on-site to ensure a safe working environment.
  •  Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.
  •  Investigate incidents and near-misses, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  •  Provide HSE induction and ongoing training sessions for employees and subcontractors.
  •  Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and oversee emergency preparedness measures.
  •  Maintain accurate HSE records, documentation, and safety logs in line with legal and company requirements.
  •  Liaise with local authorities and regulatory bodies during HSE inspections and reporting.
  •  Work closely with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to integrate safety into daily operations.

    Qualifications:
  •   Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  •  Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar HSE supervisory role.
  •  Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices in the construction or industrial sector.
  •  Certification in NEBOSH, IOSH, or an equivalent HSE qualification is preferred.
  •  Proficiency in English and Arabic; Kurdish is an advantage.
  •  Excellent communication, reporting, and leadership skills.
  •  Ability to work under pressure and in dynamic site environments.
